Stopping with the Model One Voyager is super easy. A gentle press on the brake lever is all it takes to activate the dual electronic anti-lock brakes and come to a smooth and secure stop every time.

We also really appreciate how user-friendly Unagi has made the controls. The harder you press the accelerator or brake, the stronger the response, so you can effortlessly adjust your ride to suit your style. Plus, if you prefer a more traditional approach, the Voyager also has a classic friction brake for a “foot braking” style.

As for the tyres, the Model One Voyager comes with 7.5-inch solid rubber tyres that are durable and are puncture-proof, so flat tyres aren’t something you need to worry about. Unagi cleverly added air pockets around the wheels, which were designed to act like a suspension system. While this idea is smart, the ride is still a little bumpy, especially on rough roads. Despite the air pockets, you’ll still feel most of the shocks and vibrations from the road, which is a bit of a downside. Proper air-filled tyres could have made the ride much smoother, even without a suspension system.

When it comes to handling the Voyager, we’re big fans of the 16-inch handlebars. They offer a solid grip and keep the scooter steady, even at higher speeds. We also really like the deck that is covered in grippy rubber and is 5.25 inches wide and 18.5 inches long, giving you plenty of space to keep your feet comfortably positioned.

The Voyager comes with some cool new features, and one of the biggest upgrades is its mobile app. Designed by Unagi’s own team, this app really makes your riding experience much more convenient. Here’s what it offers:

• Easy to Access Controls: You can lock and unlock your scooter, switch between single and dual motor modes, and set speed limits—all from your phone.

One feature that we found particularly great is the distance-to-empty tool. All you need to do is input your weight and whether you’re riding on flat or hilly terrain, and the app calculates how many miles you can go before the battery runs out! With this feature, planning your ride becomes a lot easier and simpler! 

Moreover, Unagi has always been known for making sleek and stylish scooters, and the Voyager is no different. It’s built with the same carbon fibre used in SpaceX rockets, giving it a high-tech, premium feel. The deep cobalt blue finish is stunning, but if that’s not your vibe, you can choose from cool mist (a soft green), matte black, or latte (a clean white).

At 52 lbs, this scooter isn’t the lightest out there, but it’s surprisingly manageable compared to other long-range models that can weigh around 88 lbs. For a scooter with such power, its weight is pretty reasonable, and it’s particularly great for heavier riders with more muscle who can lift it without too much struggle.

We love the hybrid XTECH hydraulic brakes on this scooter— it’s a fantastic combo of hydraulic reliability and XTECH technology. These brakes offer smooth, responsive stopping power, keeping you safe and in control no matter where you ride.

One feature that really stands out to us is the self-healing 10-inch car-grade tubeless tyres. Thanks to the Doctor Orange Tyre Sealant, these tyres can seal up small punctures on the go, helping to maintain that impressive 62-mile range. While it’s great for temporary fixes, you’ll still need to replace the tyres to ensure they work reliably long-term. 

Aside from their self-healing ability, we also like these tyres as they provide excellent traction and shock absorption, making for a smoother ride.

And, lastly, we can’t overlook the adjustable telescopic stem—it’s great for fine-tuning your ride to fit your comfort perfectly. With a spacious deck and plenty of foot room, this scooter is designed to be comfortable for riders of all sizes. Just keep in mind that with 4.5 inches of ground clearance, you might need to be a bit careful when going over curbs to avoid any bumps or scrapes.

The EMOVE Cruiser S has some great features that really make it stand out. Have you ever wished for a scooter that lets you add a seat? Well, the Cruiser S does just that! Its spacious deck comes with pre-drilled holes at the rear, so you can easily attach a seat plate if you’re up for some extra comfort on those longer rides.

The Cruiser S also has some really cool upgrades in the cockpit that we think you’ll love. First off, it comes with a new thumb throttle instead of the old trigger-style throttle. This change makes long rides a lot more comfortable and easy on your hand.

We also really like the updated 4-color LCD display. It’s much brighter and clearer, so you can easily see your stats and adjust settings like acceleration and electronic braking strength.

For such a compact and portable electric scooter, we really didn’t think the EMOVE Touring would have such an incredible performance. It boasts a top speed of 25 mph, which is quite remarkable for its price range.

Moreover, its 500W rear motor makes climbing hills up to 15 degrees a breeze, so you won’t have to struggle with inclines. Plus, it accelerates quickly, reaching 15 mph from a standstill in just 4.5 seconds.

With a 48V 13 Ah LG battery and a 48V square wave controller, you can expect a solid range of 32 miles on a single charge. And the best part? It charges up in about 4 hours, so you’ll be back on the road quickly. Whether you’re cruising around the city or tackling rough terrain, the EMOVE Touring provides the power and range you need for an excellent ride.

The EMOVE Touring makes braking and handling easy and reliable. Its rear drum brake is simple to adjust and gives you precise control. Plus, it features regenerative (regen) brakes that convert braking energy into stored power, which massively helps in extending the battery life. The full-coverage fenders are another nice touch as they keep debris away from the brakes and ensure smooth performance.

One other great feature that this scooter has is the combination of tyres, a pneumatic tyre in the front and a solid rubber one in the rear. While the front pneumatic tyre absorbs vibrations and makes your ride smoother, the rear solid tyre helps prevent flats and offers excellent traction. The long deck is another standout feature as it offers plenty of space and is versatile enough to fit a seat! So, if you’re someone who needs a portable scooter that can also fit a sit, you should definitely check out the EMOVE touring. 

If you’re all about portability, you’ll love the Fluid Mosquito. Weighing just 29 pounds, it folds down to a super compact 13 x 6 x 42 inches—perfect for easy storage.
